The paid version doesnt work on my ipad

I paid for one months subscription in my iPhone app, then tried using the activation code in ipad but it keeps giving notice that the code is incorrect or expired. I contacted the customer support, and they said it will work keep entering the code and try reinstalling the app. Nothing worked though. It still keeps on rejecting the activation code.
